Get Ready for AAI's Final
Artist Series Workshop 
for 2015

 

      DOTilism is a painting style that uses a variety of tools and utensils to apply small strokes or DOTS onto a hard-surface object (made of wood, ceramic, metal or porcelain) that has been prepped with a surface color of the artist's choice. When:  Sat., April 25, 2015
            10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
            Limited to 20 participants!

Where:  Community Room at the Idyllwild Library
             54401 Village Center 
      
Fee:   $75 per person, includes lunch (feel free to bring your
          own if you have special dietary needs)
          One practice object, paints and tools will be provided.

NOTE: Each participant is asked to bring two small or one medium-sized hard-surface object to be painted and taken home. Remember that your object must be made of wood, ceramic, metal or porcelain.
   
About the Artist:
           Jerry Baccaire has a unique eye that enables him to meticulously create fine works of art that are both distinctive and familiar.  His works are examples of detail and creativity. His three-dimensional art, as well as his paintings, are complex studies of juxtaposition of shapes and colors. A former custom jewelry designer who has worked for major department stores as well as designer Givenchy, Jerry graduated from Johnson and Wales College, as well as the Jewelry Institute, a well-respected center of American jewelry design. He lives in Idyllwild and Rancho Mirage.
