The talents of our Art Alliance of Idyllwild Artist Members will be FRONT AND CENTER during this three-day judged art show which will also feature a Gallery and Art Hot Spot tour. Co-sponsored by Middle Ridge Winery Tasting Room, the event will feature all art mediums.
Essential to keeping art alive in Idyllwild, the Saturday Gallery and Art Hot Spot tour on May 21st is the ideal way to visit Idyllwild. An information kiosk will be set in front of the art show location at 54301 North Circle from 10am-4pm on Saturday. Art enthusiasts are encouraged to pick up one of the newly released gallery and art hot spot maps along with a list of featured event highlights.
Judged "Front and Center" Art show will be open to the public on the following days. Co-sponsored by Middle Ridge Winery Tasting Gallery located at 54301 North Circle Drive, all 4,000 sqft of their gallery space will be overflowing with AAI Artist creations.

FREE ADMISSION, the three-day art show will focus on art and will include an artist reception
on Saturday night, May 21st, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Reception will feature light appetizers provided by AAI and a no host bar featuring wine from Middle Ridge Winery supporting the AAI. This will be the perfect opportunity for attendees to mingle with artists after touring our 13 unique galleries
and art hot spots
All artwork in the judged show will be for sale with a featured "Hidden Gems" display of artwork priced between $100-$150 on the second floor of the tasting gallery.
This judged art show aims to bring your art "Front and Center" for viewing and purchase. Make sure to register on line by May 14th at 5pm. No walk-in's will be accepted.
You must be a member of the Art Alliance of Idyllwild to participate. If you are not a member, click here for our membership levels.
Each AAI Artist may submit one piece for judging (maximum hanging size 36" x 36" including frame) and an optional piece priced between $100-$150 for our Hidden Gem display (maximum hanging size 18" x 24" including frame). The Hidden Gem entries will not be judged.
When registering you will need to select one of four categories and agree to our Art Show Overview. Click here to read and print the Art Show Overview which includes the four categories along with general information about our judged shows and liability waiver. It is important that you read the document before registering. (Note: Unlike the judged show entries, the optional Hidden Gem entry may be a giclee print or other type of reproduction. It may also be a piece previously shown in a past AAI judged show.)
If unsure of the piece you want to enter at this time, you are still encouraged to register and we will get specifics from you closer to the event. AAI will process all sales and pay applicable taxes. There is a minimum 10% fee for all artwork sold during the three-day art show. Artists who donated a piece to our 2016 Eye of the Artist fundraiser will have the $20 hanging fee waived.
This is a 3-day versus 2-day art show that is centrally located for more foot traffic. Participating artists are asked to volunteer for at least one area when registering. If we don't get enough volunteers, we will be forced to close gallery sales.
