  • Only AAI member artists who intend to participate in this show need to register. AAI Member artists who did not donate to the "Eye" event in March must pay a $20 hanging fee.

ONLY ARTISTS NEED TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT. 

THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO ATTEND THE SHOW, PURCHASE COMPLETED ART, AND ATTEND THE AWARDS RECEPTION ON SATURDAY EVENING. NO REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY FOR THESE ACTIVITIES.  

An open show of works by member artists featuring judged awards in photography, abstract, representation and three-dimensional. Artists' and People's Choice ribbon winners will also be announced at the evening reception. Points earned from the judged awards will get artists one step closer to AAI's coveted “Artist of the Year” designation. Members Show includes fabulous “Under $100” art work--affordable originals by our talented members offered for sale!

After you stop by the show, spend time touring the member galleries to see artists at work!


Members' Show Event Schedule:
Saturday, July 13th 10:00 am to 2:00 pm 
Gallery Working Artist Tour
Saturday, July 13th 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Open Exhibition of AAI Members' Show Art Work, 6:00 pm - 8 p.m. - Reception and Awards

Sunday, July 14th 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 pm Open Exhibition of AAI Members' Show Art work.


ARTIST INFORMATION:  
Drop off work July 12th (Friday) from 1 - 5 pm
Pick up any unsold art on Sunday, July 14th from 2 - 3 pm


Note to artists: If you did not make a donation to the Artist & Eye show, you must pay a $20 hanging fee for this show.

Member artists may include one piece for judging (which must also be fore sale) and optionally up to two additional pieces priced at under $100 which will not be judged.

Judged awards in photography, abstract, representational, mixed media, and three-dimensional work are given. Artists' and People's Choice ribbon winners will also be announced at the evening reception. Points earned from the judged awards will get artists one step closer to AAI's coveted “Artist of the Year” designation.

ART CRITERIA:
Pieces not meeting the following requirements will not be accepted into show:
  • Art must be original art and ready to show. 
  • 2-D Art- Framed or have finished edge with wire hanging system.
  • 3-D objects requiring display device must be provided by the artist.
  • All work must not have been shown in any AAI event in the last two years.
  • All work must be signed.
  • Please make sure your membership dues are paid & current.

ATTENTION ARTISTS

NEW CREDIT CARD SALE POLICY:

For art sales paid by credit card ($200 and above),

a small credit card transaction fee will be deducted from your final check. (It's the same fee AAI must pay in order to process a credit card transaction.)

However, you may make a donation to

ART ALLIANCE OF IDYLLWILD

of at least 10% of the sale

and transaction fees will be waived. THANK YOU!
