Don't miss this wonderful opportunity.  Gerry High - local gallery owner "Artspresso" on North Circle Drive, will provide a 3 hour drawing/painting workshop.  Each participant will go home with a finished masterpiece and exposure to some new materials and techniques.  All materials will be provided.   Registration fee: $35

The art workshop includes a primed 8" x10" Masonite panel. Gerry will teach how to draw a subject on the panel and then paint the shading and form building(s) with diluted acrylic paint consisting of black and brown. Then proceed with glazes of diluted colors to bring out the forms while highlighting with white between glazes. It's a speedy method of painting a truer likeness. Then the piece will be sealed with spray acrylic varnish. Frames will be provided so each participant will leave with their own original masterpiece.
