Saturday and Sunday events are Free to the public, although donations are appreciated.  


On-line registration for artists closed at 5pm on the 17th.  Walk-in artist members are welcome to turn in artwork on Friday, the 18th, from 2pm-5pm at the Rainbow Inn (see registration notes below).



Art is alive and well in Idyllwild!  During this two day public art show, member artists will have their work on display and for sale.  Free to the public, this judged event includes original artwork under $100 and is designed to encourage attendees to purchase originals from the judged categories.  After stopping by the show, visitors are further encouraged to visit member galleries around town to see working artists making new masterpieces! 

 

The art show will be at the wonderful Rainbow Inn located at 54420 S Circle in Idyllwild.  A long time partner of the AAI, we are pleased to once again be showcasing this lovely property.

 

It is open to the public on Saturday, July 19, from 10am-4pm. An open reception to the public is open from 6pm-8pm on Saturday.  On Sunday, July 20, the show is open to the public from 10am-3pm.

 

 

NOTES TO ARTISTS:

 

  • Only AAI Members may participate in this event.  AAI Membership dues must be paid up-to-date.  We love new artist members!  If you are not a current member, you may join the AAI by clicking here.
  • This is a judged show.  Each member may submit up to three pieces for sale.  One to be judged and two optional for the Under $100 gallery.  
  • There are NO price restrictions on the piece being judged.  If you elect to submit two additional pieces to the Under $100 gallery they must be priced under $100.
  • Hanging artwork must be already wired to hang.  Maximum size of artwork submitted for show is 30" height x 36" width.  Please, no exceptions.
  • You will be asked to select a category when registering your judged piece.  Artists can view categories by clicking here.
  • Artists are encouraged to register on-line, as it helps the volunteers overseeing the show logistics.  On-line registration will close at 5pm on July 17th.  Walk-ins are welcome.  Drop off time window for artwork is listed below. 
  • The AAI is charged a credit card fee for all credit card transactions.  If a piece is sold and purchased by credit card, the 2.8% credit card fee will be deducted from the asking price before paying the artist.  If the artist elects to donate a % of their sale to the AAI, the 2.8% will NOT be an additional deduction. 
  • Drop-off of art is on Friday, July 18th, to the Rainbow Inn between 2-5pm.
  • Pick-up of unsold art is on Sunday, July 20th, at the Rainbown Inn from 3pm-4pm.
